I have a new breakfast that is so good. It is 9 pp but it is worth it. It keeps me full and I look forward to it everyday. It is also loaded with protein so who can beat that? Here it is!!

1 pkg. Carnation Instant Breakfast
1 cup 1% milk
2 teaspoons of Natural PB

Blend and drink. Sooooo gooood!!!

Wahoo!! I was so happy with that number. Hopefully next week I will be out of the 180's!! I am hungry today. I wasted 6 points on a freezer meal and it just didn't cut it for me!! Oh well. I am learning. This weekend is my anniversary so I am saving all of my points for Saturday when we are going out to eat for lunch AND dinner. I will still try and be good.

Starting to get easier

Things are starting to get a little easier. I am starting to get more full after meals. I was starving for a couple of days. I told my DH that I had to go to bed NOW or I was going to eat. I meant it too. I just needed to go to sleep. I woke up in the middle in the night and my stomach was aching it was so hungry. That was the worst of it.

Yesterday for lunch we went to Applebees. I looked up the nutritional information on everything so I would know exactly I could eat. I think they gave me way more potatoes than 1 cup though. Here is the good part. I calculated the points for the triple chocolate cake. It is 20. There were 4 of us there so I just cut the cake in 4's and I was able to eat it. Now normally I would have eaten the whole cake. I can still enjoy what I LOVE but just a smaller portion. One thing I did find interesting though is their salads are so high in points. Usually I order a salad thinking that I am behaving myself. Steak and vegi's were way lower in points. Go figure!!

I can't wait until I go and weigh myself. I can tell a difference. Not in my clothes or anything...I may not have even lost more than a pound...but I am way more aware of what I eat. It has only been a week. I think I did good at all my point counting. I haven't cheated at all. Last night we watched a movie and popcorn was involved. I air popped the popcorn and sprayed it with butter spray. It was yummy!

Tuesday 11-30

Weight: Don't know...I am going to try and wait until meetings to weigh myself.

It is the afternoon and I know I won't get another chance to post so I will write what I think I am going to have for dinner. Hopefully it all works out this way.

That works out to 22 points. I will have to figure out how to get those 7 extra points. I am sure I will find a way to get them in :)

Today I went to my first Weight Watchers Meeting. I couldn't do it myself online. I talked my sister into signing up too. I am going to put a big picture of myself now in front of my treadmill. I am also putting a picture of a warm beach somewhere. Jason said if I reach my goal by January of 2012 I can choose any vacation I want. Also I did something else new today. I walked on the treadmill for 1 mile...but I RAN 4 minutes of it. It was in 2 minute sessions but I still did it. I made myself do it and now I feel so GREAT!! I needed my inhaler after! lol Here is my menu for the day. All points will be to the new Weight Watchers Points Plus.

Breakfast: 1 English Muffin with Jam on it. I didn't know jam was so many points. 8 points
Lunch: 6 " Turkey on wheat with 1 tsp light mayo. (Subway) 7 points
Snack: Grapes...They are FREEEEE... 0
Dinner: 3/4 c Pasta, 2T a couple extra bites of Pasta: 11
Snack: Blueberry Cake: Mix a can of blueberry filling with a box of Angel Food Cake..,.Nothing else. Mix and cook at 350 for 30 minutes. Yummy and only 2 points!!

So that leaves my day at 28...I am supposed to have 29 but I am leaving a point because it seems like the girl at Subway put a little extra mayo on. I also earned 3 activity points but chose not to use them. I am going to try and not use any activity points so I can just have the activity worth it but it is nice if I need them.

So the gain has begun! It was nice though to eat what I want just in smaller portions.

Who knew that one of the lowest points at Mcdonalds is the happy meal. It filled me up too. So great I can even have a cheeseburger on Weight Watchers!!

Weight Watchers Day1

Weight: 184.4

Well you read it right. I cheated! I had a big ol helping of Chinese food!! This morning I weighed myself thinking I would have gained a bunch...I lost .2!! lol I gave it my all but 500 calories is just too little. I had a 3 day headache...I was starving...and just not happy. I am a normally cheerful person but I felt like I didn't even have the energy to smile. It is one of the hardest things ever. I don't know if my drops were too diluted or if I just can't do it. I might try to do the shots after the it the right way...we will see.

So weight watchers...I did it a couple of years ago and lost about 10 lbs...I know it works...I just got lazy. I am very determined to lose the weight so I am going to do this method instead. With weight watchers I never felt deprived of anything. If my hubbs and I were going to go on a date then I would just save my extra 35 points for that day. Here is my menu for today. I have 26 daily points and 35 extra points per week.

B: 1 1/2 cup honey bunches of oats....5 pts
1 cup milk...2 pts

D: 1 cup mashed potatoes...4.5 pts
1/3 c gravy...1 pt
1/2 c corn...1 pt
1 roll...3 pts
2 oz roast...3.5 pts

Grandmas: 1 cookie...4 pts

Total points: 24...(Maybe another 1/2 cookie at Grandmas)...:)

On Sundays we go to my moms for a big Sunday dinner so we don't have lunch. We have church during that time. The thing that worked for me last time was planning my dinner...putting in those points and then planning the rest of my day. That way I didn't have to change my dinner menu so much.
